BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

       COURIER PACKAGINGS SDN. BHD. (former known as Courier Paper Products Sdn. Bhd.) was incorporated on 03-03-1989. The present directors, Mr Chin Chow Ping (who is in charged the machinery, Production and Management) and Mr Eddy Tan Kok Seng (who is in charged of the Marketing Department and also involved of promoting Company recognition to the market).

       The Company commenced operation on 01-08-1989 occupying only five units of factory lots (1800 sq.ft. each) at Lot 4792, Batu 1-3/4 Jalan Minyak Beku, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor and subsequently expanded to 10 units of the factory lots two years later. Since the end of July 1995, in line with the Company expansion to meet the increasing demands in the market, the Company decided to shift the operation to a bigger factory premises, which the factory was constructed on the Company's industrial land (approx. 3.5 acres) at Lot Pt 186, Batu 6, Jalan Tanjung Laboh, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor.

       Initially, the factory engaged approximately 16 workers and main product was paper cartons, which were catered mainly to meet the local market and small portion for export. Since 1990, the Company diversified its activities into plastic corrugated cartons to meet the requirement for oversea market (including those export-oriented companies with LMW/FTZ status) and the present workforce are approx. 70 employees.
